If you need a massive amount of heat delivered exactly where you want it—and you need it now—this is the lamp for you. We built this 1000W halogen tube to be fast. Like, “instant-on” fast. At 350mm long and running on 220V, it doesn’t mess around. It pumps a ton of energy into a small space, so you aren’t sitting around waiting for things to warm up. You flip the switch, and it’s ready to work. Why the gold coating? Here’s the thing: standard clear quartz lamps let a lot of heat just drift away. It’s wasteful. By adding that gold layer to the quartz, we’re basically telling the heat, “Go back the other way.” It reflects the infrared radiation right back toward your target. This means you get a much more intense hit of heat. If you’re swapping out an old, sluggish tube or trying to get temperatures that LEDs just can’t touch, this is your best bet. Getting it set up (and a few warnings) Wiring this into your industrial heating bank is pretty straightforward. And since it uses a halogen cycle, the filament is tougher than your average lightbulb—it’ll actually last. But a word of caution:this thing gets hot. Really hot. Because you’ve got 1000W packed into a 350mm frame, the heat is incredibly concentrated. If your housing is clogged with dust or your reflectors are looking worn out, you might melt a socket or warp your brackets. Do yourself a favor and double-check your cooling fans. Make sure they can handle the heat buildup around the ends of the lamp. Where does this actually help? You’ll mostly see these in PET blowing, shrink wrapping, or industrial drying. It’s perfect for those jobs because it uses short-wave IR. This lets the heat soak into polymers without just scorching the surface. It’s a cleaner, more controlled way to get the job done.
