The nitty-gritty on power When you’re picking a lamp, it all comes down to the voltage-to-wattage ratio. That’s what controls your heat density. Take a 400V high-wattage tube, for example. It lets you keep a small footprint while still pumping out the massive heat flux you need to soften PET preforms fast. But be careful. That puts a lot of stress on your wiring. If your power supply and contactors aren’t rated for those spikes, they’ll burn out. Simple as that. Materials and the “plug-and-play” part We use high-purity quartz glass. Why?
