You’re basically playing a balancing act between how much heat you can cram into a space and how long the lamp actually lasts before it gives up on you. For us, it all comes down to two things: the quality of the tungsten filament and how pure that quartz envelope is. The deal with power and voltage We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. We spec the tubes based on exactly how much room you have in your machine. Take a 400V high-voltage setup. It lets us push a ton of wattage through a 300mm tube without blowing a circuit. This gives you that intense, shortwave radiation you need for things like PET blowing or curing. It’s a concentrated hit of heat. But here’s the catch: these high-wattage tubes gethot. Like, really hot. If your cooling fans aren’t up to the task, you’re going to burn out your filament way sooner than you’d like. Materials and the “click” We use high-purity synthetic quartz because nobody wants to deal with thermal shock. Depending on what you’re actually heating, we can add a special coating to the tube. This shifts the emission spectrum so the heat actually sinks into the material instead of just scorching the surface and leaving you with a mess. As for the connectors, we stick with R7s and Sk15. Why? Because they just work. They’re the industry standard for a reason. You can just drop them in. No need to tear apart your entire rack or rewire everything just because you decided to switch suppliers. We’ve also tightened the pin alignment, so when you slide the lamp in, it seats firmly. No wobbling. How we keep the price down You’re probably wondering how we keep the costs lower. It’s simple. We cut out the “big brand” tax and streamlined our sourcing and factory floor in China. We aren’t cutting corners on the tungsten grade or the vacuum sealing—that would be a disaster. We just stopped paying for the fancy marketing and the global distributor markups.
