If you’re running PET blow molding machines, you know the drill. You need your preforms softened just right before they hit the blow station, or the whole batch is ruined. That’s exactly why we built these 350mm lamps. They’re designed to put the heat exactly where it needs to be. The power side of things We stuck with 220V for a reason. It means you can plug them straight into your industrial grid. No messing around with bulky step-down transformers or complicated wiring. Inside, there’s a tungsten filament wrapped in a halogen gas mix. Why the gas? Because these lamps go through a brutal cycle of heating up and cooling down. The halogen stops the filament from evaporating too fast, so the bulbs actually last. Why quartz? Simple. Regular glass would shatter the second you flipped the switch. We use high-purity quartz because it loves the heat. It also lets short-wave infrared radiation pass right through. Instead of the lamp housing getting scorching hot, the energy goes straight into the plastic. It’s much more efficient. Plus, we use R7s spring-loaded connectors. They’re a total lifesaver. But here’s a pro tip:Watch your reflectors. Because these lamps put out so much concentrated heat, your reflectors take a beating. If they get dirty or pitted, you’re wasting energy. The lamps have to work harder and run hotter to make up for it, which kills the filaments way faster. Do yourself a favor—every time you swap a tube, take a second to check that your reflectors are clean and aligned. It’ll save you a lot of money in the long run.
