Let’s talk about our 625mm Medium-Wave Halogen Lamps

If you’re dealing with plastics or coatings, you know the struggle. Some lamps just sear the surface and leave the inside cold. That’s why we built these. These are 625mm medium-wave lamps. Instead of just hitting the top layer, they actually soak into the material. It’s a deeper, steadier kind of heat. The power side of things We’ve set these at 400V and 2000W. Now, that’s a lot of juice. We do this so you get a concentrated blast of heat without frying the tungsten filament inside. It means your machines ramp up to temperature way faster. Just a heads-up: make sure your wiring and power supply can actually handle 400V. If they can’t, you’re just asking for a burnout. Why the “half-white” look? You’ll notice a white coating on the quartz. It’s not there to look pretty. It actually bounces some of that infrared energy back toward your product and stops those annoying hotspots from ruining your work. Inside, we use halogen gas. It stops the filament from evaporating, which means the tube doesn’t turn black and gross over time. It just lasts longer. Simple as that. Getting them into your line These are pretty much plug-and-play for most heating tunnels. Whether you’re blowing PET or curing paint, they fit right in. But here is the trick: watch your airflow. Because these pack so much power into a small space, they get hot. Really hot. If your cooling fans aren’t dialed in and the housing traps that heat, you’ll toast the ends of the tube. Pair them with a solid PID controller so you don’t overshoot your temp and melt something you didn’t mean to.
