The Heat and the Pressure
When we’re designing a heater, it all comes down to how much power we can cram into the space. If you need something like PET blowing or paint curing, you need intense infrared radiation fast. That means high wattage in a small footprint. To make that work without the tube warping or cracking, we use high-purity fused quartz. It’s tough. But here’s a heads-up: if you’re pushing a tube to 2500W, your cooling system has to be on point. If it isn’t, those end caps will overheat and fail. Simple as that.
What’s Actually Inside
We use halogen gas filling to keep the tungsten filament from burning out too early. It basically pushes the evaporated tungsten back onto the wire, stretching the life of the lamp. As for the connectors, we stick to the stuff you already know—R7s or Sk15. They’re standard for a reason. They fit right into the sockets of the big global brands. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel here; we just make sure the tolerances are tight so you don’t deal with annoying arcing at the contact points.
The Honest Trade-offs
Look, no heater is perfect. If you go with a short-wave quartz lamp, you’ll hit your target temperature incredibly fast. But, you’ll also replace it sooner than you would a long-wave version.
